Communication is EVERYTHING. We have always been a remote-first team. One of our mottos is, “You cannot over-communicate.” It is impossible. We speak half a dozen languages, come from over half a dozen time zones, and lead very different lives. If we are not communicating every time a question or idea is just a twinkle in our eye, we are doing something wrong. All our experiences matter. We develop safety products that help people across all cultures, time zones, and demographics.
The biggest hurdle we have faced has been miscommunication. We work hard to be sure we are all always aligned. Our management team is in constant communication to be sure this is the case. The second biggest hurdle is cultural differences. We can only bridge these differences with open, transparent, and concise communication.
